Tax free

Many Finnish shops offer tourists a tax-free service.

In Finland the limit of entitlement for tax-free shopping is 40 €/shop. Tax-free service can be benefited from in case of consumer goods and comestibles.

You are required to show your passport when doing tax-free shopping. The passport number is marked on the tax-free check and will be exchanged to cash when you leave the country. The check is valid for three months from the date of purchase and the buyer must take the product out of the country unused.
