Saimaa Canal Museum

Saimaa Canal Museum is located to Mälkiä-Mustola area. Museum's exhibition gives insight to the construction work of Saimaa Canal. Exhibition on the Suvorov Canals built in the 18th century, and about the harbours of Baltic Sea in the outbuilding. The earliest attempt to build Saimaa canal was in the 17th century. There is also historically valuable renovated garden, a canal path in the Mälkiä area and a café.

Open daily 8.6.-9.8.2020 from 11 am to 6 pm. Free entrance.
